Sweet Christmas munchy~

 This the first Christmas Orange taste cookies i had make so far. but abit not that pro is the cookies get moist easily. :(  doco in Christmas tree.

Snowflake. all done by icing sugar, lemon juice and a little bit of water. 

Butter cake with a little bit of butter icing just to mach the Christmas team (before my friends saying too sweet! ) i call the horse. :P

 and some nice cute cupcake too~ bough that icing doll from cookie box. 

This is how we make the ginger bread house. using more then 3 hour to stand the house and deco. waw...talk about if add the baking time. but is fun ^^ Thank you KS and Anthony for the help~

Christmas eve~

What do i do for my Christmas eve this year~ Eat ofcause!! Suppose meeting up friends in KL, but stuck in the jam near my house more then a hour pissed off. so i turn back and when to one of my favor restaurant at Taman Tun 'Deutsche Gasthaus'. Their most best selling is pork knuckle, sausages & their beer!!!
Tonight is Christmas eve. the main dish pop-in my mind was turkey~ Roasted Turkey RM48. here are 1/4 turkey service with roasted veggies, potatoes and special fried yellow bean ball. first i though was fried potatoes, but the taste is different, so i ask the waitress. using yellow big bean with herbs and spice, breaded and deep fried till crispy out side perfection. good combination. i like it!

my old time 'love' dish, salad. ordered ham, beef stick salad RM18. they always had nice fresh dressing when comes to salad, beautifully with the tender meat. Another 'like' click. ^^

 They only come out 2 type of the soup this Christmas eve. I ordered Seafood tomatoes soup RM25. seafood soup always not my kind of soup, just~ well. can still left with extra calories tonight. :P

German Sausage pizza. pork~ pork~ porky Christmas i have~ ^^

Last but not list. dessert Apple Crumble with vanilla ice-cream RM18. Worth ordering!

Gelatomio ice- cream

 Going jalan- jalan with friend and found this new ice-cream brand in Subang Parade. well~ is Christmas day~ let eat!. The brand from Italian. so..i have no idea what ' Gelatomio ' mean? any one?
the Counter girls let us try different ice-cream before order. blueberry, raspberry, and the black sesame, but the end i choose Almond Rum RM6.80 per scoop. Maybe one day will go back for the black sesame. :d and more!!!

hope for big tub, but just finish lunch, so....tummy is full with noddle. :(

should try ice-cream with espresso next time. Menu got!! I'LL BE BACK!!

breakfast at toast box

 Morning without breakfast is just not me, or can say morning without breakfast is not morning yet.
next door open a new restaurent call toast box, first time for me, ordered french toast and they come with the half boil egg and a cup of coffee. coffee.... not there yet. the aroma of the coffee and the taste just not there. :/
but the toast bread not bad.

now you see~ now you  don't, all is inside my tummy~~ <3

Chocalate cupcake

Second time to bake Chocolate cupcake and finally!! i got the chocolate taste i want!! using coco powder, chocolate chip and malted dark chocolate.  is moist, is just so yummy!!!!

Ikea restaurent

 

Been craving for ikea salmon fish steak since in hospital. finally have it when mroe then 3 week after coming out. 

Ikea had new menu when comes to Christmas seoson.

ordered salmon steak served with potatoes & brocooli with buttery sauce.but for Christmas new Christmas salmon steak will change with bake potatoes chips, with tomatoes and hubs sauce. 

My friend order chicken wing~ *.* crying in my heart because DOC say I STILL CANT TAKE FRIED FOOD YET!! ><

Claypot pak kut tae

This is what i call PAK KUT TAE! 

In my family, we only eat par kut tae in Klang or one of the restaurant in Sungai Buloh, near Subang 2 the 'old airport'. you can say we are picky with it when comes to pak kut tae.

the par kut tae come with claypot that how we want it. ( we don.t like serve in normal big bowl, some shop are serve with that.) 

Soup was flavor with herbs and thick, and the pork ribs ( we always order pork ribs, we call that 'small bones') were tender and chewy.Normally we will also ordered another bowl of fu chuk, the fu chuk had a nice crunch.

for the rice we ordered oil rice, add with onion oil and abit of pork oil.

plate of yau ja kuai and allot of chilly padi. 

The final touch when comes to end~ :d

Total bill $$ RM43 for 3 of us.

another dish from my mum. herbs chicken~ cinnamon, Chinese herbs, black soya sauce & etc to marinade for more then half a day~

when goes to cook it. add tafu, carrot, and maybe egg with it~ 

that is call dinner time!!! :d

mum birthday cake~

This year on the November 28 i bake my mum a walnuts buttery cake. Extra walnuts, Extra butter that make the perfect cake for my mum. Happy Birthday Mum~ love ya~ <3

lotus,peanuts hurb soup

Mum favored home cook lotus hubs soup. using more then 5 hour with slow small fire, allot of Chinese herbs, red dates, raw peanuts & pork big bones.

I'm back from the hospital, cant really can eat some real food yet. so my mum will cook for me all those lest salt, lest oil, and no seafood meal. 

this is white cake, with choi pou. one of my favor dish when mum know how to steam this cake. add abit of soya sauce. wala! my dinner!! ^^

berry cupcake

Trying out new recepy for my cupcake~ <3 KS bought a bottle of lingonberry juice form Ikea. i try it out for the icing. they say the taste not enough, maybe next time should try add more. but the colour of the icing might change to red :/ not pink any more.

for the cake i choice normal butter cake, that will make the lingonberry icing the main character.    

Walnuts butter cake for sell!

Last few week i bake few of the Walnuts butter cake for my friends. turn out pretty good~ ^^ happy for that.  and the order start coming in. ofcause mostly from friends. oh~ well~~... they like it, i bake it, and I'm happy for that too. :P maybe 1 day i will have my own cake shop.
