hakkah wo-zi-pan

 This is a Chinese Hak Kah new year dish, we call it WO- ZI- PAN. my aunt make them early this year, and my mum cant resist to cook them, and me can't resist to eat them. :d
Is make out from Yam or you call that Taro root. that vegetable like a big big potato. My brother tell me before, grandmum use to make this when is hot, her hand when in the yam and the flour while the steam hot air is all over the big bowl and the aroma of the yam is all over the kitchen. and i remember i use to help or so call play with it. to pock a hold in the middle on the 'ball' 
is a very complicated dish. steam the yam and the flour, mix them together when their still hot mean just come out from the 'steam room' add the salt and etc... then roll it till become a big fat snake. then...( forgotten, lost memory :p)  when cooking time, you need dry prawn, Chinese mushroom, celery, not the big type.fish oil, etc... same, one word, is a very complicated dish. but I LIKE IT! <3 num num num num num~~~


Weekend dinner at home tonight. soup of the night will be Tafu soup. we call that Ham-Chui Tafu soup. all it take is tafu, tomatoes, Ham-chui. 

Roast pork bought from market. a bowl of rice. delicious home cook dinner ^^ yum yum~
